Actually it's someone else's hair.
I just watched Verdine White and EWF in a live studio rehearsal of the new album, Now Then and Forever. He is playing a Nathan East signature Yamaha and his playing is rock solid.
Many of the baddest cats playing today were influenced by him.
How do you know that? Verdine has either had a large Afro or a long perm for over forty years.
OK,I actually don't know that. You got me. I was just going with the fake bass thing and took it to the next level. Tought it was funny. You know, pretending to play bass and pretending to have super long straight hair. But really, extensions are not uncommon in the black community, right?
I'm a past middle age white guy and I would get extensions too but I don't have enough hair to extendI guess I can take a joke, but all sorts if people get hair extensions, and long hair is common among black people too.

This says it all. Thank you!Let's see would I rather be Verdine White millionaire, six time Grammy Winner, producer and loved by millions? or some dude on some internet forum saying that Flea is better than I am,my teeth are too white or he's disappointed I dance too much? I'm taking option #1 the rest of you enjoy this fine discussion.
Well, 99% of the audience would be more entertained by Verdine's dancing than his bass playing. His job is to entertain EW & F fans, not to please bass players.
