old ESP 400 Series Bass...looking for info on it

I have an old ESP 400 Series bass that i got for free a while back. It has no strings,no strap knobs, no tone knob caps and it has a lot of scratches and dings on it. i posted it on minneapolis craigslist and have had a lot of people reply. The guy who called me back about it first said he was interested in the headstock because it is a telecaster style headstock. He claimed to know nothing about esp but he offered me $100 bucks for it.

SOMETHING is fishy. do i have a little gem possibly?

the highest offer i got was $125

what shall i do?

if it weren't for the holidays, I'd offer you a fair price for it, but things are tough right now..... could always pass along the Karma ;) J/K. good luck selling it, hell I'd hold on to it, for a freebee all you'd really need to do is put some strings on it and replace the strap nuts and knobs, no-biggie, and have a cool bass laying around to play around with.
