Old Marchall Gov'nor

    Where cam I get the old Marshall Gov'nor, not the new one, I know they don't sell them anymore and i no eBay but its never there?

    Think about it. "They don't sell them anymore." That means they are only available used. That means nobody stocks them on a regular basis. That means there is no place to reliably find one. Except possibly Ebay. There's one up on Ebay right now, and I have never seen a week go by that there wasn't one available on Ebay.

    I tried to original Marshall Guv'nor & really liked it, but felt it lost the bottom end a bit. Later I tried a friend's new Guv'nor II which has a 4-band EQ with a contrabass EQ and felt this made up for the loss of bass in the Mk I. However, a lot of folks (guitarists) still prefer the Mk I.

    k now i just placed a bid wen 8 se left and it was out of time i was stupid, should of done it more sooner, thats the first time i tried to get something on ebay

    I found mine in the local pawn shop for about £40, bargain. Found a few toys in their actually, including Boss V-wah and Pandora PX4D, both at bargain prices, cheaper than ebay in fact. If you have a pawn shop near by, worth popping by every week or so to see what they've got, even if it's not a guv'nor, something else might catch your eye.
