I have dabbled a little with bass for many years, and have never been good enough to really keep the bottom end down. I have finally come to the decision to commit to it and take lessons.
I have been more of a coffee house singer/acoustic/rhythm guitar player, and lead punk vocalist.
If a band is in the future I want to be able to slip into the rhythm guitar or bass role without any hesitation in addition to vocals.
I have had a Danelectro Longhorn for the past year, and I just bought a Danelectro WildThing/SweptWing today.
I plan on using a pick, but we will see where lessons and practice take me.
