What do you think of the color of this bass?

I didn't know that I needed this video so much, thanks ! :D

I don't like the military vibe of the olive green basses I have to admit.

Yeah,
the algorithm gave it to me yesterday and the algorithm was right for once.

I think the interesting thing is that those of us who don't like these colours will soon find we do. Because that's how society messes with your mind.

I’ve become a firm believer in the laziness of just color coordinating based off of one’s iris color(s).

My eyes are dark hazel, so I definitely could rock olive green instruments just as easily as dark orange or purple, but I usually save the olive for clothing and contrast off of that with my favorite paint for guitars & bass guitars- aged/antique/olympic white.

I have always loved olive drab though… I’m not now nor was I ever into the actual military or the guns & blowin stuff up aspects, the not-flamed, not candy apple red, not pimp fur interior, not over-chromed military Jeeps (and in particular this one Ed Barris looking mutated flat windshield thing on drag tires but with the only chrome being a tube frame, a-arms, and the lug nuts) were the big thing for tiny-me walking with dad around car shows in the 80s-90s, so a WWII/Korea/Vietnam battle prepped Precision, EB3, or 4003 would probably by default look unbearably awesome to me. Olive green matte is the only way a Bongo looks better than tolerable to me.
