Seriously, for $400 I would take a look at it, as a project. If the only problem is the body shape, a little quick work with a bandsaw (or maybe a chainsaw ) could produce something reasonable.

I'd personally grind off/nicely cut off the "wings" and make it rounded at the back. That also would drop half of the weight and make it playable as well. How much it's worth? Not $400... heh.
