I thought "coffee table bass" was just a euphemism
I also thought that some thought was supposed to be put into the selection of a body shape by the builder. You know, either something comfortable, some kind of design pattern or theme, etc. This one looks like its shape was arbitrarily made, without any design consideration whatsoever.
