Definitely a much more moving take on what I always thought was a pretty uninteresting song. Kind of Incognito-ish.
I think it's Gary Lunn on an Alien.
A friend in Nashville turned me on to the Smoking Section a while back. ALL of their videos..... heck, all of the PERFORMERS.... are just BA.
I saw Gary live with the EagleManiacs last time I was in Nashville. He just layed it down all night. I was glued to his playing. And he NAILED Pino fretless Henly bass lines. Just a skilled, solid, but soulful player.

Awesome. They could pass as sisters based on that brief glimpse in the video. And now that you said Kim Keyes, I actually do remember seeing her elsewhere with other groups. (I’m a Jewel fan.) And I was impressed those times too. Backup vocals never get half the praise they deserve. Thx!
