OMG.. this woman can bring it

Man oh man! She reminds me so much of Chaka Kahn with a horn group. I think she was kickin it. The group gave me the shivers.
Agreed. When Chaka and I were both very young I had a crush on her bigtime from the first time I heard her. Didn't even have to see her, but when I did it was total love at first sight and note. Now we're both older and larger..

I played after school and weekends in the early 70's while at U of Washington. This kind of music was all over town, especially the U District. On any weekend you could go to a half dozen clubs to listen and dance to outstanding funky dance music with horns, awesome bass player with a P bass and Ampeg SVT/810. What an excellent time to be a musician. The music was real, untouched, and the musicians were stellar. You couldn't cheat back then like you can now-- you had to bring it! That's what this band reminds me of.

Well, I thought we were going to be seeing a female bass player here. I can remember seeing a lead singer/bassist on tv called Laura Love who had pretty good chops.
It's nice to see Laura Love get some attention, for some reason she got lost in the shuffle of the internet age. On topic, those videos and band are badass!
