I saw Gary back in the 80s with Christian Band Whiteheart. He is definitely bad to the bone.
I used to say that 30 years ago. Old is a state of mind, not a physical condition.
However, the whole band is a group of mature musicians that the younger generation could take a lesson from. There is no substitution for experience and chops-- plus the ability to read. Excellent video! Thank you @bearhart74
This is just me spitballing it, based on having done video production for a while:
The lighting director prolly had enough space in the main room to put up some soft boxes or umbrellas. So shots of most everybody else have relatively flat, even lighting; the white walls would help that approach by bouncing the light. A couple angles don't though--IIRC, the bass, vocal chorus, and lead vox. So my guess is that the LD had to add some key light (as in the classic lighting formula of key/back/fill) to help with those close-ups. And in the case of the lead singer it was harder to visually separate her dark skin tone from a dark background.
That circular reflection in her glasses leads me to guess the LD put a speedlight on the camera for her close-ups. Likely it bothered her eyes, so she put on the glasses. Maybe they decided it was OK, or maybe nobody caught it until the taping was done and they were in the edit bay.
As I say, that's just me spitballing it.
Added: There's a photo on their Facebook page. Looks like I was pretty close with my guess, above. Plus they hung a black scrim behind her, which would make it even harder to get separation from the background, meaning they'd need the key light to be pretty hot. Hey, it's easy to second-guess somebody else's work...but I wouldn't have lit it that way.

It depends on what you're looking for. It's an adult contemporary cover by what's probably an adult contemporary group.
I think basscliff had it right when he said that the performance and arrangement are the highlight of that piece. Thats a valid point, because re-imagining a popular song is an artform (sometimes...sometimes it sucks, like everything else). Whoever did it out lots of work into that craft, and is lucky enough to find players that can play what you're trying to communicate.
I could see this video on an EPK looking for corporate gigs, which I imagine is the exact crowd that would hire an entire act playing these kinds of numbers. Familiar, upbeat, unobtrusive.
I'm going to say probably. Have you been out of Kentucky to urban communities with this kind of music? It's very hip and very technical. Flicks my switch...

naw its cheesy and makes my ears hurt...but to me that is what makes music awesome. everyone has different tastes

OOPS: I see that it has been answered.
The arrangement and performance is done well. But it feels like an assignment from a Berklee arrangement class. It's done really well, but I'm not compelled to listen to the whole track. The original had pain, longing, and emotion dripping from it. This one is academic.
Man oh man! She reminds me so much of Chaka Kahn with a horn group. I think she was kickin it. The group gave me the shivers.
