Onboard Camera

In this day and age of digital photography.. I think it’s time for the builders to have an option to include an onboard digital cameras on our basses. Not on all but maybe as an extra??
Maybe a lens in the headstock area with the shutter release near the pickups and electronics within control cavity.. you wouldn’t need too much space.
Awesome bandmate and crowd shots.

Um, no. If you want a camera, mount it yourself.

There would be NO continuity to customer demand. Some would want it facing forward. Some would want it facing down the fretboard. Some would want it Apple compatible. Some would want it Android/Windows. Some would want the ring around it to be Sherwood green with nitro finish.

It would be a marketing NIGHTMARE to try to juggle demand for various options.

Clip a Gopro on yours and be done with it.

Oh I added a new lightweight camera to my head stock to replace the original on board camera that was 5 OZ heavier

Maybe a backup camera would be nice, if only to stave off the possibility of me keeling over into my amp and looking more stupid than usual. It can't have that annoying beeping though. It's bad enough sharing the stage with a drummer. Having two annoying metronomes would be torture, especially since the camera would prove how bad the drummer is at keeping time.
