One bass! Just One!

In a burning house situation, I'd grab the closest P bass and get out of there.. Or, actually, I'd just get out of there and buy a new P later.

If money was the reason, I'd keep my Squier P, as it's good enough for me and the Fender basses would sell for more.

Well, it was somewhat interesting...the first 100 times it was asked here. Now? Not so much anymore...

I had to debate hard and long about this one. I would keep my CS Pino.

I'd have to have a "There Can Be Only One" bass-off. Which at this point, would take me a long time to complete.

Stingray. Just about any. My 30th gets all the work these days. Everything else I play sounds fine but doesnt sound as good as a Ray to me.

I can see the point for just about all those companies though. Im just a Stingray guy anymore.

I chose other, If I could only have one bass it would be a first generation Hamer Cruise Bass. I can do anything I need with one of those.

Well, if Fender was the only brand of bass available to mankind then it would win. But it's not...so it doesn't.

If I can only have one bass, it's going to be my American Deluxe Precision because that bass can do just about anything. If the house is on fire and I can only save one bass, it's going to be my '69 Jazz because it's the most difficult to replace.

I'd probably keep my Gibson SG Std. Bass. The Fender AM. Std.'s would be tough ones to part with though.

I'm with you. I thought Gibson would have been on the list.
