Cort GB5 Custom (it's not even close to be the best ever, but it's the best I would be open to buy haha)

Interesting. I like it.I don’t think it sounds quite like an mm, more like a P with less fatness by itself.
99% of the time I run both pickups together at full… its pretty magical. When I was figuring out the placement for the 2 split coils I tried all sorts of placements for them on a test bass I built. It really came alive when I placed them together in that spot.
Thanks for the replies. I needed some inspiration. It's actually nice to see that they aren't all ridonkulously expensive choices.

I think a lot of people feel more comfortable driving a Chevy pickup truck than a Maseratti.I've owned a lot of basses over the 40+ years I've been playing, including some very expensive "boutique" basses (Pedulla, Wal, Alembic, Modulus, etc.), so I find it amusing that the one that's ended up being my favorite is an Indonesian-made Ibanez that I bought for $600.00.![]()
Thanks.Nice looking bass boss
Some things to consider ....After a somewhat worthless journey of buying and selling, I'm looking for a keeper. Okay, maybe 2!
