The simplest way to keep it from spinning is to put a little rectangle of double-stick tape on the bottom. No harm to the pickguard, and you can play around to find the right angle.

I agree that this is a really simple part to make. I could make it in the same time than it took me to write this post. But it isn't worth my trouble to transact the job.
