Keep the MIJ P. Flip the ADPV.

You have a great bass in the MIJ P. You know this. You bought the ADPV on a whim, figuring to flip it for some cash. (You should do this.). You clearly have difficulty deciding on this kind of thing (ref: this thread). If you keep the ADPV, here's where it goes from here. You immediately regret selling the MIJ, and wonder if you now have the right bass, already second-guessing yourself. Let's say you start to like the 5, though this might not happen. You start digging the low B, but then the questions begin. "Is this B tight enough? Would a 35 inch scale be better?" You start working with the active controls, and begin to wonder if the Fender preamp is the right one. "Would a different preamp sound better?" You forget about the battery and it runs out during a gig 6 months from now, and you have no spares with you. You like the modern tone, but you miss the classic P sound. And on and on. Remember, you have difficulty deciding this kind of thing. This is way too much overhead going on in your life to be dealing with all of that.
That MIJ P is a great bass. Be thankful you own it!
