One Strap per bass or one for multiple?

Unless I have one for each bass, in the case, I will at some point end up forgetting to take the strap out of bass X when I'm at a gig with bass Y

LOL, one strap per bass, but since I got the Mono strap, that's the strap that goes on stage, regardless of which bass I'm playing.

Italia Straps on all basses (4") and guitars (2.5"). 6-8 spares/extras for swapping in and out, plus a bunch of old/original straps (Fender, Aria, old hippie straps, etc) that now just hang out with the others. Dunlop Strap Loks on most but Fender Strap Blocks (washers) on others. Straps stay on. Here are some basses along w a T-Bird that I had just picked up but had not yet received my black b/w red Italia Strap.

Oh gosh, I dunno...just FINDING a strap that doesn't suck is pretty hard...I kinda hate them all. I'd love to find just ONE that I could live with. That being said, every bass has it's own horrible thingy that I fight with often.

I REALLY like these....I have one on all 4 of my basses.

A quality one (fender neoprene) with schaller straplocks + a standard spare one just in case.

I have schaller locks on my main basses and I just put my main strap on whatever I want to play. I dont like constantly having a strap on basses. If I pick up a bass to play sitting down I really dislike a strap being on it while doing so.

That said I always have a levi strap without locks on it incase I have a bass that doesnt have schaller buttons. Then I also have probably over 10 straps sitting in a box from buying used basses that came with one.

If the bases are roughly the same size, I like to share straps. But not all of them are, so I have a few different straps. They come off in the case or gig bag so I don't see the pull of one strap per bass.

I use one strap for each. I also fervently believe in strap locks so my way is rather expensive. Especially if you own a dozen basses.

I don't use a strap. When I play standing I support the entire weight of the bass with just my fretting hand.

Multiple straps. I'd rather pick & play. Each of my guitars/basses have a strap. If all my gear had strap locks, i'd use one strap, but it gets boring easy. That's why each has a different strap. Nothing ever gets mixed matched.

Both. I have one bass and it has one strap. So each of my basses has its own strap, but its still one strap per bass.

I use a wireless, so I have to swap straps on those rare occasions I bring more than one electric bass. I've got the quick change down to an art, though. I use Dunlop Straploks, and they pop right off, then I keep the strap on my shoulder the whole time and I pop the new bass onto the strap, plug in the wireless, unmute my tuner, and I'm back in business in about 5 seconds.

1 tend to use 1 strap per bass, although it's not always possible.
