Onion rings and SB-2s.

My only two real weaknesses in life, there are way worse things to be addicted to than onion rings and SB-2s but I guess that we all have our crosses to bear.

I just had some fantastic onion rings for lunch today! Went in to Guitar Center in Austin to check out an amp (Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0), which was sadly a fail. On the plus side, discovered a burger joint - been there forever but new to me. Onion rings were on point, as was everything else. Sadly, no pics as my son and I made quick work of them.

SB-2s and onion rings have both struggled to find their place in this world, overshadowed somehow by Ps, Js and fries. Their greatness is unappreciated.

I'm glad that a few of us have seen the light...dip some good onion rings in sriracha Mayo, or solo the split MFDs. You too will know the truth!!!

Those Basses are killers!.. So are onion rings!!

Speaking of condiments I use my own mix of Real Lemon juice, Woebers horseradish sauce and Wholefoods 365 organic ketchup for O rings, fries, fish sticks and everything else that needs a condiment.

I take my basses and the infrequent whiskey straight.

Sounds much like Heinz Cocktail Sauce.....probable nothing remotely close to being organic in it however.

I've been looking for an excuse to buy an SB2 for years. Would love a 5 string. IMO g&l rules the classic passive basses.

Ok, I thought onion rings was some new wood finish/character like birds eye, burl, flame etc. that I missed out on. Do you like my new onion ring bass? If you tilt it in the light you can see the batter texture..........

Clicked on it and only saw some very nice basses.

Mine has no tone, but I've got the parts and will be wiring in a stacked knob to add tone. Not sure I need it, but I want the option. How much do you use the tone?

SB-2s rock. I only have one but it is killer.

I'd pass on onion rings anytime for a plate of fried chicken livers from the old black grandma down the street.
