Online tuner that DOESN'T need access to my microphone?

I'd love to have a tuner setup on my iMac - but I want it to hear the bass signal through my interface. I don't feel like this is asking a lot, but so far every tuner I have downloaded wants access to my microphone, which is useless to me. Anyone have a computer tuner they like, and that can hear the sound of the bass plugged straight into the interface?

Garage Band has a tuner. Use that, you probably already have the program installed.

I don't trust it, and I was hoping for something more accurate. I have Reason as well, and I don't like that tuner any better.

What’s not to trust? They’re digital tuners. They’re all perfectly accurate to within a smaller percentage than humans can perceive.

If things don't get into tune, then maybe check the intonation on your bass.

FWIW I use an inline tuner which works by muting my signal while it's working. I like this because I absolutely hate hearing someone tune up!! Really HATE IT
