only a guitar player would use this...

Heheh. :D

I wonder if I could start a pedal and/or synth module business intending to sell only to to them. I think it could easily be subsisted by nothing but Trent Reznor's infinite money and desperate need to recapture some of the credibility he once had.

Hopefully, that credibility will never come.

But I'm more interested in this effect. Oh wait, no, I'm not. I like GOOD effects.

That clip brought me right back to my early punk rock days when everyone had horrible SS amps and guitars with crappy intonation that wouldn't stay in tune. I enjoyed the brief stroll down memory lane but whew, I'm glad that's over.

Yeah, it captures that "Reagan Youth" tone pretty darn well...

I'm glad someone's making cool pedals like this. It's better to have more choices as artists/musicians/consumers, but like most of you guys I'm not hearing my sound come out of it either.

Woh. I would have better results wiping my a** with the money spent on that thing. It is tube too. I thought it was a rumor that tubes can sound bad. Nope. Fact.

With that said, if you do like it heres what I did to get that sound...

Strat > Behringer bass OD (gain dimed and drive dimed and level dimed with bass at 9:00 or less) > into tube preamp with gain dimed. Crank it loud and stand close to the speaker.

Seems to come close in my mid. I did not even have to buy any additional gear *nor would I have to get that sound.

EDIT: I truly heart tube preamps so in no way am I bashing tubes here.
