Opening for P-Funk

Congrats my friend. My old room-mate in college(and high school friend) got to open for them with his band "Fat Mama" back the mid 90's. Mind blowing experience. Stay humble, watch and learn from the masters. I missed P-Funk's show when they were in town a couple of months ago and have been kicking myself ever since.

Just got word that one of the bands I play with, Heylady, is opening for P-Funk on July 15th at Alive@5 in Stamford, CT!!! ...

I'm jealous. They've been my biggest influence since the mid 70's. Do you think HeyLady would look as far as Lou-evil for a replacement bassist if something should happen to theirs?

I just got a copy of the EP that'll be available at the show tomorrow. Sounds awesome! For the people who are understandably too far to come to the show tomorrow (so, most of ya!), I'll have the download info soon.

Just got home. By the time we went on, there was easily 10,000 people in the audience! Killed onstage. This was one of the best nights I've ever had.

On another note, I saw that our own JimmyM is playing the same stage in a couple weeks with Bowser.

I'm pretty sure we've got some video from the singer's dad and the keyboardist's mom. And at a couple points, P-Funk's camera guy was onstage filming us, so we gotta try and get that footage as well.
