Opinion Needed

Hey guys,

I'm going to be using my M-Audio Fast Track pro a lot more often now and I'm wondering if I should hook up a DI to it or just plug straight into the box. it's just for practicing but I wonder what is considered more 'proper'. (I'm using an MTD 6, Active bass)

Try it out and see which one fits your "ear" best. There's no right or wrong to all of this.

i would assume if it has a 1/4" input then straight in is fine. if not, DI
