@bholder is right, both good value propositions.

However, I think it's kind of a weird question to ask in a vacuum. What kind of sound do you want? One option is humbuckers and the other is single-coil. They'll sound pretty different. If you want that fatter humbucker sound, get the Ibanez. If you want a more classic jazz bass sound, get the Sire.

Personally I'd get the Sire since I already have several humbucker-based basses and I don't own a jazz-style bass.

Okay....
IMO, which one would/should I buy? Neither one. Near as I can tell from their respective web pages, neither of those basses are available as a lefty. Both companies do make a lefty or two, but those models ain't them. The passive lefty Sire V7 might be tempting - if I wanted a Jazz type bass. Which I don't...
IMO, which one should you buy? I'm not in the habit of telling people how to spend their money - especially where something as personal as a bass is concerned. But, based on my faint interest in the Sire - and the good things I'm always hearing about Sire's - I think I'd lean in that direction, assuming I was right handed...
