Opinions On Ashdown?

Used to own an ABM 500 EVO II with the ABM410, ABM210 and ABM115 cabs. Nice, cool sound and get some OD with the tube cranked. Wanted lighter cabs and sold the entire rig. It wasn't one of my better moves in life; I've had few rigs that have matched it since.

I own a ton of the ABM series stuff and absolutely love it all. I am an endorsing artist but would still be playing Ashdown if I wasn't.

Iv owned and gigged my ashdown mag 300 1x15 combo for two years never had a problem the sound is warm if a little muddy, IMO the low and the low mids are pretty unbeatable in tone great growl and punch but in the upper mids and highs they seem to be a bit thin and artificial no real life in them, I think the mag series definitely suits 15s to make use of the awesome low end tone as I did use the head to power my 4x10 which again made the low end shine but showed the flaws with the highs. I would definitely recommend it however you may struggle to get a nice jazz tone from it IMO of course hope this helped pal
