Opinions on these cabs

I'm thinking about going with the Mesa RR Diesel 2x15. It does not have any speaker problems and is just ready to be played. However some things came up and I'll have to wait another week before I can buy it. Hopefully it is still available, and who knows maybe the price will go down by then or something else will come along. Thanks to all who replied.

Yeah that is what I have been thinking. I am just looking for something that will last and sound good with good tone, volume and versatility. Kind of a all around cab so to speak. I am not really a major touring musician, however just wanted something awesome for jamming and if/when I join another band something that would be good for local gigs (with or without PA support).

I'm an SWR kinda guy, but of the cabs you listed I've only played the 6x10 Ampeg. I really liked it a lot- great tone and very efficient- you don't need a huge amp to get loud with it.
Do pay attention to the differences between Ampeg HE vs. HLF....very different voicings there as Jimmy pointed out. The HLF series is almost silly, with how low they go. Not my thing either.

Yeah each cab and brand is different, however others have said the SWR Sr 610 and Mesa PH610 sound similar. I am just looking for a good solid cab that is not a cheapo, but that will not brake the bank and obviously I stressed the versatile part before.
