Double Bass Or Bareket... another underrated "gem"...

I'm just discovering the music of Or Bareket .. and I'm wondering, how it could take so long to discover this bassist and his music...

Heard him somewhat recently in Greenville SC with Jonathan Kreisberg's quartet; somewhat coincidentally a guitarist I work with here in Columbia, Amos Hoffman, was Or's jazz instructor when they both lived in Israel....

He and I both had ISB convention recitals around the same hours one year.. I got to run to his just after decompressing a bit from mine.. he's an extraordinary talent !
