I recently bought Orange 35b from a guy who used it as a phone table for a couple of years. He is not a musician, it was a b-day gift from a friend, and he said he did not used it at all. And I have one question for you: the amp seems in perfect condition, no any bumps or tearing signs, BUT when I volume up on max with gain past 1, I get farting noise. It is OK if I, for example, get volume on 5 and gain on 3, but all past that it farts, especially when I hit the strings stronger. I never had a bass combo with external speaker out , so I dont know if that amp on combo have more power than needed because of ext. speaker possibility, but as far as I know ext. speaker would cut off combo speaker. Another option would be that a combo speaker is damaged, but as much as I know, then it would fart even on very low volume. (on volume on 5 and gain on 3 it is pretty loud, as much as I would expected from 35w, maybe even a little louder than my old 45w MC bass combo). Until I get the combo in farting zone, it has beautiful sound and I enyoy it. Can someone explain me what is the farting problem? I use squire bass 6 and epiphone thunderbird, both passive. Farting is produced without pedals, so I dont think that signal is too hot. It helps a little bit when I put lows and middles very low, but even then, difference is minimal. I never put lows very high, as i love when my bass is a little bit treble emphasised anyway.

Should I buy another, stronger cabinet for max volume up and gain possibility? And how strong should it be? If you have any models on mind... Ext. Speaker out is at 8 ohm. I would love to see that combo on full strength... I found nothing on internet about that, combo production is discontinued long time ago, so I did not found almoust anything related to him on net.
