Orange AD200 position on Ampeg 810

I'll check the feet. But I would rather not cut screws in the brand new amp. I'll check everything again, when I'm back at our rehersal room tonight. It would really be a shame if I can't bring the orange in a good an secure position...

I was thinking about buying a flightcase and use the lid to put the amp on. But then again I'm afraid the lit is too slippery...

My head stays on the tray of a lift-off road case on top of my of orange 8x10 cab. Hundreds of very loud shows like this with no issues: its definitely not too slippery. The amp weighs like 70 lbs or something and it wont move once its up there. But if you don't need the flight case, id move the feet a little.

Not if the new fixing holes are still within the radius of the foot. The feet on the AD200B are those large rubber type. Whichever hole was used you wouldn't see the other. I've done it on a few heads where the feet clash with cab corner mouldings and I didn't lose a penny.

Carpet , foam rubber and moving the feet are all good ideas but I really wouldn't worry about any of them. That head isn't going to move the way you are doing it now.

Take an appropriately sized board, mount rubber feet on it that match the 8x10's cups, then route or drill holes (with a Forstner bit) on top to match the Orange amps' feet.
Decorate.
Extend the length over the side of the cabinet and make a cupholder and ashtray, so the items don't sit on top of your rig .
Fabricate a fastening method (wing bolts, velcro, etc.) to the top of the cab and carve a bass hanger at the other end!

Fun in the shop!

Nope. I believe the only alternate acceptable wiring brings it up to 16 ohms

Thanks for all the input. I've been in the rehearsal room yesterday and it seems the amp won't budge at all. The feet are too big for the cups, so the amp stands relativly flat on them. I think I can work with this, if not I think the case lid with rubberfeet is the easiest method without touching anything on the amp itself.
