Hi everyone, So I came across this video which implies that Orange will be bringing out a Bi-Amp simulation Bass Preamp pedal. Watch from 8min10sec. Anybody else have any info or heard about it anywhere else?

That's too bad because I've been waiting a long time for Orange to come out with a Bass Preamp. I like my Orange combo but I really want to downsize.
It may still be in the works. Considering this video is discussing the TremoLord 30 and Pedal Baby 100, both of which just got debuted at NAMM last month, we could be seeing the Bass Butler pop up in the next quarter.
Definitely not sunk.

Out of respect for an old friend, I won't go into much detail. ...but it definitely ISN'T sunk. Appears to be full steam ahead.
I am awaiting this myself and hope to be one of the first to order it.
Yeah I saw a FB post where Orange hunted at a new bass pedal a few weeks back. Sounds like it is still going ahead, albeit a bit slower than expected

I’ve heard a few Orange emulation preamp pedals and honestly was never that impressed. Plus I played through a bunch of Orange amps at rehearsal studios in london where they were for some reason really popular and I never ever got along with them.

WHAT?!? I had no idea!! Thank god cause this is the only thread on TB and I was starting to wonder if there was anything else out there.
I haven't used anything that beats the grunt of my Tech21 Oxford. There may be clankier, but nothing has matched the grunt it produces for me. It turns my Ric into a growling beast. Add a clanky overdrive in front (like the YYZ or Darkglass X) and it only enhances it. But nothing has reproduced my mids like it.
And I've been through quite a lot of fantastic preamps.
I hope this one bests it.
And I absolutely dislike what the Ampeg SVT thing does for my tone. So maybe that puts me in a different ballpark. Lol.
