Gimmick. It's a nice idea, but would be much better integrated into a piece of rack gear. I'd guess this will flop, Digidesign or a similar company with actual experience in this field will steal the idea, and make it successful and effective.

wow...not sure if i love it or hate it. lol. still seems like a unique idea, and might work great for the right application. i wonder how good the amp models included will be??? and can it work as a standalone amp with no monitor and stuff hooked up.

Stupid, but if I had some cash, I'd buy it. I like the case. And at this stage of the game a computer is a computer and mine is having a hard time.
I think this is a cool multi purpose type of thing. If it's not ~$3.5 million dollars, I would consider it, just for the multi tasking space saver of a PC and an amp built in. Also, not having to figure out some sort of recording interface would be nice. Personally, I haven't had a windows 7 issue at all.
