But a single is not at loud as 2 front facing 12's.

i have a terror bass head. do you think it would adequately power 2 of these cabs?

Hiho easy answer I run the old SP212 with an OBC115 and it goes very loud.If your using a Terror head you get full power with 8 or 4 ohm just use the switch on the back of head.That feature is what all amps should have.
