Orange OPC

Has anyone used or reviewed the Orange OPC all-in-one recording studio computer. Looks like a winner: high speed, high capacity, tons of interface options including Firewire and optical. Looks like they have covered most of the issues you'd normally come up against. It was announced April of last year and I know a few units were out with friends in beta yet I'm just now seeing the first ads (Feb. Premier Guitar). I know they had a few at NAMM. Did anyone get a chance to talk with them about availability?

Only 4GB RAM? I'd like to see that doubled. It's cheap and hella useful. But it does look very interesting.

My guess is it's a 32bit os, so more ram wouldn't do you any good. It doesn't say one way or the other, but I've found a lot of the cheaper recording apps won't run on 64 bit.

Running Wine for VST's

It says on the spec page it's windows 7, it just say what version. It also says what apps it has, t racks and a few others, not Linux apps.

That's fine.
Windows 7 is stable as heck.
And a lot more Software runs on it.
T-racks are on sale now. Great plugins.

looking at the specs, it looks like a normal computer housed in a orange cab chassis. It's probably a decent recording platform, but to me, at 1500 USD, I see a 800 dollar computer with 200 dollars worth of software and a 500 namebrand markup.
