Orange SP212 Cab: Worth fixing?

The Linn Isobariks were very good, I sometimes wish I had a pair.

Inasmuch as isobaric designs still have a place, they makes more sense in home audio where the added mass and complexity isn't a liability -- in which speakers will be put in position and never moved again, compared to pro audio where speakers are be picked up and hauled around twice a day.

Ok they didn't say vacuum, They say "airtight", what happens if it's not airtight? Looks like Orange thinks the speakers will go out of phase:

The Orange OBC212 features an isobaric design. Two front-facing speakers, one behind the other, deliver serious punch. The space between the front speaker's magnet and the rear speaker's cone is airtight, keeping them in phase with one another.

They actually mean polarity, rather than phase. Both drivers should be hooked up in the same polarity. This relates to how the wires are connected. The chamber has nothing to do with it.

The top image requires the drivers to be hooked up in polarity. the bottom image requires the drivers to be hooked up out of polarity.

The idea is the cones should be moving together, rather than opposite each other.

Sealing the chamber couples the cones to some degree, but the coupling is not perfect. This relates to how they interact with the cabinet's internal volume and port(s).
