Orange Terror 500w Cab Recommendation

I'm going to guess that it seemed like the Orange could have crushed your Acme...only because you expected your Acme to behave pretty much like any typical 2x10 cab - and the Acme Low B2 is anything but typical.

There is one 210 out there that wouldnt be shy with the 500 or 1000 watt version of this amp. Not a cheap cab though.

I'd recommend a 2x10 based on a Kappalite 3010lf.

I tried my terror bass head with markbass,ashdown and Orange sp212 and the sp212 demolished them.
I,ve been playing them now for just about 5 months and it just gets better,plenty of volume,bottom end,tone the works and I,ve had different basses through it and they all sound great.
fabulous amp and cab.Very good pairing

Yes but why would you?
I have never seen an 8 Ohm 810. Either way you will actually limit your sound using the 115, not gain anything.

I run mine into an 8 ohm LDS 15/6/1--it absolutely kills. Everything. Seriously.

Avatar B212 in orange Tolex. Powerful 500w Eminence Delta LF speakers at a very good price (500 bucks delivered). Good company too. Since the Terror tested out a legit 500w @ 8 ohms, go with an 8 ohm cab.

an 810 will kick a 410+15 to the curb almost every single time. There are some exceptions but for most cab manufacturers the 810 will destroy it.

Running an 810 with 115 is completely pointless.

Although it seems intuitive that a 15 will give 'more bottom' it simply isn't true at all. The size of the speaker alone has almost nothing at all to do with the resulting sound you'll get, with modern designs. Today you can buy a bright, barky 115 or a super deep, dubby 410 and anything in between.

Update -added an OBC115 to my Orange set up.This cab is a very good 15" cab.If I use my SP212 with the OBC 115 it is a monster.
Try it with an OBC 115 it works.
