Hardcore like melodic hardcoreWhat genre?
IMO those both have their own audible tone "shapes" - you really need to go listen.
If it were me, SVT, but mostly because I think Orange amps sound funny.
Do you know anything about the differences of tones? They both sound good but different through a 810. If volume is your only criteria both can be extremely "loud"

Ampeg will have a more versatile tone, but personally for 'hard' genres the Orange will sound crunchier and more in your face. However, the 500w Terror would look puny and silly on top of an 8x10 compared to the Ampeg
It's a TB1000, but I like the way it looks on top of the 810E.![]()
I can run that through the ampeg svt810? Even though it's says 800 watt cab?80 lbs vs 12 lbs
$1800 vs $900
300 watts vs 500 watts
Retubing it every 3 years vs No retubing

Retubing every 3 years is a senseless waste of money. One tube can go tomorrow and the one next to it can last 10 years or more. Replace tubes when they go bad, not because tube sellers tell you should retube often.80 lbs vs 12 lbs
