The impedance switch just moves the limiter built into the power section. No big deal.

with flats I like the eq 11 oclock treb.. 2 oclock mids and 11 oclock bass...I think the BT can get close to those vintage bass tones (London, Paris recordings) of the early 60's.

I run mine just about the same... It is perfect!

With my TB500, my settings, typically, are highs at 11, mids at 2:30, and bass to taste depending on the room. I also swapped my tubes out for NOS, and put a 5751 in V1 of the amp, which brought the overall gain down noticeably. I now have more sweep/control over getting the 'touch of breakup' sound that I find works best for me with this amp.

I have also run the amp at 8ohm with a 4ohm cabinet for about an hour at a gig, but experienced no negative results, now about 6 months down the line. You're probably ok, but the amp will let you know if not!

does anyone have a click of a p bass through this with mids maxed, treble and bass at 0, or maby just a little bass?

I run mine with mids dimed and treble and bass to taste for the cabinet and room. I read somewhere that flat is mids dimed, treble and bass at 9:00.

Are all of you using the clean switch with these settings or the classic orange drive switch down?
