Orange Terror Bass + SVT112HF?

Hi all, I could use some advice :).

I've been playing for quite some time now and recently I joined a band. Now I discovered my current amp can't keep up with the drummer and guitarist.

At this point I'm using a Line 6 LowDown 110 (75 watts). I'm afraid I blew the thing so I'm in the market for something new anyway.
Basically I'm looking for a roadworthy amp which isn't too heavy (50 pounds maximum).

I basically have two options at this point; a used Hughes and Kettner QC412 combo, or I can go for a new Terror and 2 used SVT112HF cabs.
I'd prefer a single 112, but the seller wants to sell 'em both at once. On the other hand, I can leave one cab at practice, and the other at home. The Orange is portable anyway so that might be a nice replacement for the Line 6. And I can use them both when gigging, which is safer anyway (backup + wattage).

The downside; the H&K route is about 550€, the Orange + Ampeg will go for 1050€ (520 for the amp, 550 for 2 cabs).

Any suggestions on this? Looking further is an option aswell, and I don't really need a really good practice amp at home, so the second cab does come in handy, but is no necessity.

Cheers and thanks in advance for any replies!

You can also buy new, and good :

Terror Bass : 467,84 €

Orange Smart Power SP212 : 535,37 €

That's a 1000€ bill for a brand new, lightweight, powerfull and full orange setup.

What do you think about that ?

I used to own a pair of those exact cabs. They are quite nice but not very efficient and required a fair bit of power to sound good. You may find they work very well with the Orange head. They sound great and are not too heavy to move around. 2 cabs will sound huge compared to just a single but think you might really like that setup.

Those cabs are made in the USA as well so they will retain their value somewhat better then any current Ampeg cab. I say go for it!
