I'm interested in having Fender build me a Custom Bass via their Custom Shop. I understand that in order to get this done I have to do it through an authorized dealer, like Bass Central.
How can I get a price quote (detailed, like what each feature costs).
I'm interested on a bass based on the Reggie Hamilton V Custom Shop with a few changes...
-One piece body, mahogany or ash with a see through dark finish
-35 scale graphite neck and composite fingerboard with MOP inlays
-All black hardware, cloverleaf lightweight tuners, badass V brige
-Some pearloid pickguard
I imagine this will run me past 5k atleast but I've got a vintage alembic and some other vintage basses I could unload to get this done...
