Origin Effects Bass Rig DI 64 Black Panel Hiss

I've had my Origin bass rig DI for a while now, probably about a year, and love the tone! I notice that when I crank up the output all the way I get a lot of hissing. Anyway, just wanted to see if anybody else is having that same issue. My chain is as follows - boss tuner>empress bass comp>bass rig DI. This happens with both the DI out and the amp out.

I found you need to increase the input gain (drive) and thus turn down the output gain to effectively manage the output noise. If you are running with the drive really low, like 9am, it will be noisy.
Yes I forgot about that Running either gain/volume very low with the other high does reduce the signal to noise ratio on these. Best to keep them away from complete opposite extremes

gotcha, I'll give this a try. Will this give me a bunch of saturation? I'm trying to find a nice clean and clear bass tone with minimal saturation
I sold my '64 prematurely. After the sale I realized I never really used the Blend knob. You may be able to get your desired tone Blending in some dry and utilizing the tiny EQ knobs, rather than the 3 main knobs.
