Double Bass Original Flat Chromes

Speaking about tension, having Spirocores E and A, would you say Original Flatchromes D and G would mix better with Weichs rather than Mittels?
If you like it heavier on the bottom stay with mittels if you like it heavier on the top then weichs. I think the tension/stiffness of the OFC D/G are right in between.

I don't really like that OFC D for pizz. It's a nice arco strings though.

...just like Jazzers, which is one reason I'm so happy with them.

Though the D didn't really do it for me pizz either, I could see it working for someone. I loved how it felt and if someone was going for that dead bounce or if they had a really bright bass, it could be good. To my ear regular Evah Pirazzis sound kind of like that and a lot of people love them.

Still, its intended as an orchestra string.
