Hi Talk Bass community,
I am set to go on a 5 week tour in Nepal with a Nepalese country-rock singer songwriter. We’ll be playing in rooms that accommodate up to 2000 people. As an avid Aguilar user, I requested an Aguilar SL-210 with an AG 700 head, in my opinion plenty of onstage power plus it will be going straight into the board via the direct out on the front. I was asked to provide other suggestions for rigs in case the Aguilar setup is not available. What other set ups made by GK and Mark Bass would you guys recommend that have similar power specs and similar tone quality? The SL-210 accepts 4 ohms at 700 watts I’m pretty sure.
Also I am using a 2011 Mexican P-bass with vintage fender ‘63 reissue pickups and labella deep talkin bass Jameson strings if that information is useful to you guys. Thanks a bunch.
