Ouch...... GAS pains

I went to Long & McQuade on a very innocent trip today. I just wanted to pick up the latest issue of Bass Player because my subscription hasn't kicked in yet. Of course I had to go look in the bass room. First bass I see is a Squier P-Bass Special fiver. I grab it off the rack and plug it in. Holy cow this is a nice bass. Plays like a dream. Lots of bite on A D and G strings, just how I like it. And just like my fretless it is only about 300 bucks. I spent about 40 minutes playing it and finally had to force myself to put it back on the rack.

Damn GAS pains!

Is the burst actually that red?

If so... that's hawt.

Actually, the one I played wasn't a burst. It was a solid red color. Actually more burgundy than anything.
