Gave it a brief once over setup after my day job, before the show. It had a minor backbow to the neck; one hex wrench later it now has just a hint of positive bow. I like it "just a tad from not quite 100% flat" meself. Reset saddle height, reset intonation, plug it in...Blech! The input jack was just as tarnished as the tuner ears, nuttin' but "baaaad ground noise" coming out. Whip out some 400 grit emery tape, roll it up, insert it into the jack, spin, pull out, clean the paper, repeat 3 times, then take a q-tip and wipe it down inside with "Corrosion-X," a miraculous electronics clean and lube agent I found in salt water electronic marine repair. Now what's coming out is "clean signal." Niiice! Pots are all clean and function, as is the 3pds. It's nice and snappy in the first two, OMG is predictably large. Bass itself is a middleweight at 9.3lbs. The CAR body is in fantastic shape. The neck-tho the seller claimed is was mint and check free-is *highly* weather checked. Not happy about that at the price I gave. Seller hasn't responded to my beef about it, he did claim a "satisfaction" period...I does play, feel, sound fab...ran it thru a wt800b and schroeder 410, eq flat, horn at 60%. Seriously great stuff. Snappier than my 'burst hog L1K.
