I already have a number, but here's my new 2008. The Candy Cola finish looks amazing in person. All I needed to do was tweak the truss rod after I added a set of chromes. The bass is awesome! Fender got these right.

I think I'm already in this thread somewhere, but here's a new family portrait, including my Fender CS NOS '59 P Bass in Shoreline Gold, which turned up this week

and here I thought we were running out of people with P-Basses.
I got my Sting back wired the correct way...the 1/4 pounder puts out at 15k...this is the loudest non active bass I have ever heard. From the outside it looks the same but I had it routed to use regular sized pots. Right now its tone to varitone for the circuit...I'm going to put a stacked pot so it can be Vol/Tone to Varitone so the beast can be a little tamed

IIRC thats actually a Fender bridge! They're answer to the Badass.

Mind you, it doesn't really sound or feel any different to the blue one; it's just a bog standard, good old fashioned P Bass - perfect

All the time there are right minded people out there, the P Bass Club will continue to swell. Even if there were no new members I'm pretty sure those of use already in would continue to post photos of new P bass aquisitions. Without doubt my favourite thread, closely followed by the "Addicted Precision Bass" thread. Hmmm, I think I see a pattern here.

actually it is a fender bridge. In the 80ies Fender made a series of brass replacement parts. I got it for 12 Euros on ebay.
It took me a long time to get information about the bridge and finally send a message to Mike Watt via MySpace, because you could see him use one of these on the coverpics on some firehose records.
He answered me the bridge back then was known as `the claw`. It weights about a ton and is easily twice as heavy as any Badass. I got the same information from the fender forums.
They say it was genuine 7ender
The bass is a Richwood, a cheap copy from china made of good wood. I changed the PU to a Quaterpounder and added the nice cram pearloid pickguard. I will gig the bass again when I get another neck for it. The one on it is not bad, but i want to get a telecasterbass club neck for it...
Well the reason I haven't added mine is because I haven't been looking to join another TB club... But how I do like this thread tho. And if this is part (2) do I already belong to part one?
