I've only had this a week but really love it. Still to gig it (this Sat) and still to replace the stock low B with a chrome to match the others but on the whole, fantastic bass.

Yeah, its nice isnt it.

Its taken me a week to fall in love with it but its nice having a 34" 5 string with "that" tone.
Ill be sure to let you know how it sounds after the gig.

Not sure if i ever posted this but here it is anyway.
The HW-One has been sold and the DD will go soon I hope.
No need to keep if i have the P5. I think out of all the basses I have owned the P's have been the best sounding and best looking.

Yes, its a lovely bass.
Most surprising (to me) was the neck. I have a 55-01 and always thought the neck on that was great. It is but there is something about the P5 that makes it feel more like a 4 string.
The first couple of times i picked it up just after it arrived i had a closer look to check it was a 5 string. Its that nice.
Not quite as flat and fast as my 55-01 but in my hand its more comfortable.

What I didn't feel comfortable with the 5'ers I've tried so far was the distance of strings was so close to eachother. Personally thats a problem for me How is it with this one? Like if you compare it to a MM Stingray 5 or any other?
