What I didn't feel comfortable with the 5'ers I've tried so far was the distance of strings was so close to eachother. Personally thats a problem for me How is it with this one? Like if you compare it to a MM Stingray 5 or any other?

They are close. To me they feel right but compared to my 55-01 they are closer. It helps that the bridge saddles have three grooves in them so you do get a bit of adjustment.
Personally i didnt get on with a 1.75" neck (i think thats what it was) on my HW-one. I could have got used to it but i put my HW-1 Jazz neck on it instead. I felt the strings were too far apart. This was coming from the 55-01 so im not sure what was going on there but i do love a jazz neck. Thats why i got the Duck Dunn.
I gigged the 55-01 recently and found the string spacing to be ok but the P5 seems faster for me.

I've never player a MM so cant really comment.

This is my one, my only, P-Bass.
It's a 2005 Mexi-Merican hybrid. I havent done anything to it yet, but it can expect new pickups and, if I ever get insanely good, an Electra MPC setup.
The finish is real nice, that cool purple/blue shifting metallic one.
It's sad, 3 years old and it's gone through three owners.

Actually, it sounds really great, provided you put on a good set of strings and you know how to EQ your tone properly. Gives a punchy P bass tone, and the Duncan Designed pickup serves well. I'm actually still playing everything stock beacause the sound is pretty good as it is. You should really go check one out at a store, beacause it's great for playing classic hard rock and classic heavy metal if you slap on a set of bright sounding strings.

cool! im thinking of getting another squier, yes, a vintage modified but im thinking if i should get a vm jazz. Still happy with my overwounded pbass ill give that vm pbass a run though
