subscribing and joining in...here's mine, it's a Cort SP-PB...originally fretted, now has turn into a fretless...this is the fretted version

There be my two main Ps. The fretless is undergoing some serious renovations, and the MIA P is getting some serious work on recording and preparing for my bands first show in a few weeks.

I have three total, those two including a Squier VM P, but it looks different. Ima take new pics tomorrow.

Hey,

I haven't been able to get my hands on an Olympic White AV '62 P bass and also haven't found great pictures online. There isn't one on the Fender site either...sad. Could someone with an olympic white AV '62 please post or e-mail me some decent pictures? Thanks.

I already have a number, but my collection will very soon be growing by one! :hyper:

I sold my Squier Affinity Jazz V about three weeks ago, and I don't really miss it. Come January 5th, I'll have my new SX SPB-62 LPB fretless, in addition to my Squier Affinity P-Bass. I have been moving away from the Jazz Bass feel and sound a lot lately: I can't wait to own two P-Basses!!!

Perusing this thread makes me all the more anxious for my engraved pickup/bridge covers to arrive in the mail (hopefully by next week). When they do, I'll post pictures of my "Liesl". She's a "Maestro '57/'75 custom" -that is, a loaded '57 RI P-bass body, with a '75 RI jazz neck. Plays like a dream.

That looks amazing. I'm a big fan of "custom shop" jobs. Because my first real bass, Nigel, (a MIK '01 Ibanez Soundgear SR480 PJ -the really cool one,) was so awesome, when I moved up to my Warwick Thumb BO-4, I wanted to make Nigel more playable, so I stripped the frets, the active preamp, and the pickups, and added a Seymour Duncan vintage J and a Fender '57 RI P. I found the traditional P-bass pickups not cutting it (and they went into Liesl, a P-bass I will show off later,) and put EMGs in it with a les paul style wiring. It's been the best decision yet.

I'll post pictures of Nigel in the appropriate spot.
