Absolutely. Fender instruments are way too rounded for metal. A bass for metal must be something you'll need a tetanus shot for, like

You can put a Jazz Neck on a P body, or vice versa. Can you put Biel's perfect behind on Alba? Now that would be the ideal.

I read that the Pete Wenz bass is best for punk in the "bassist" section!
Checking his public profile, the OP appears to be but 18 years old so I'm sure some grace is in order.
IN this day and age of space boxes and internets, there is no reason why an 18 year old couldn't already know the answer to this question. THats the information equivalent of a 35 year old from pre computation machine days. I managed to learn the difference from life experience and a few books, but I know thats not how we do things anymore.
