P deluxe

I'm thinking about Replacing my pick-ups on my '09 American P-deluxe. I don't know where to find the buck. Any recommendations? (on the p pick-ups as well) I'm looking for a deeper growl. I play jazz and metal btw. thanks

edit: I like active but an active/passive system would but cool.

I recently changed out the Split pick-up on my 2004 Deluxe P-Bass, I used the Fender Reissue 62 pick-up, works well with the preamp ..... I got mine from a retailer on E-Bay

I think these would fit as a bridge pickup substitute for an American P-Bass Deluxe.

Sounds like Dimarzio model P to me. For darker growl. With the pole peices raised a little above top of pup shell. or perhaps delano or villex for more hifi'ish then those.
