...as a player & a listener, I'll always prefer smaller venues; more personal & better sound(IMO).
Nothing beats seeing a band like The Flecktones in a Va. Beach bar with about 100 other folks.
 
I always have liked peanuts playing, but if you like him, you might want to check out his old teacher, who is now my teacher. He is better as far as I can see, and also does a lot of finger tapping style things. If anyone went to namm you might of seen him in the Linc Luthier booth playing with his band. Troy Johnson of JRZ system is his name. He is really good and I am glad that I have such a good teacher.
