I have a squire P-bass that was given to me by a friend and is my current resotoration/mutilation project. I also have a bridge pickup from my old Strat (RIP
). I am considering putting the Strat pickup on the P-bass.
I will be putting the Strat pickup in the bridge, because that is easier and more cheaper to do. I'll also be wiring them to the same volume pot, and maybe a switch on the start pickup. This is a quick and greasy job.
I'll leave this up to ya'lls opinion as to how it will sound, cause I kinda feel the need to get that before I do anything drastic and irreversible.
